Owner & Founder
Jim Sedgwick
I grew up in Curwensville and graduated in 1991, then spent the next five years serving in the United States Air Force in Accounting & Finance. That experience gave me a solid foundation in financial discipline and attention to detail that I’ve carried throughout my career.
After leaving the service, I spent over a decade in B2B and retail, working across multiple industries and learning firsthand how businesses operate — and more importantly, how the back office either supports or holds them back. I earned my degree from DuBois Business College in 2010, and in 2013 launched Sedgwick Bookkeeping as a part-time venture. By 2016 I had converted it to full-time, and Sedgwick Business Solutions has been my full focus ever since.
Today we serve retail, restaurant, service-based, and small manufacturing clients with bookkeeping, payroll, office advisory services, and software solutions. My goal has always been simple: make business easier for the people running it.
My wife Sarah is a Presbyterian pastor. Together we have a daughter, Brett, a son, Cole, and a bonus daughter McKenzie who joined our family in 2018. Brett has blessed us with a granddaughter, Amelia.

Lisa Ingham
I’m a Penn State graduate with over 40 years of accounting experience, including more than 15 years as an accounting manager at a local retirement community. I joined Sedgwick Business Solutions in 2021 and manage multiple company accounts.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband Ron and our two grandchildren.
